Golden Touch Blackjack to Teach Brand New Advantage Method25 January 2004
Frank Scoblete Enterprises, LLC For Immediate Release: GOLDEN TOUCH BLACKJACK TO TEACH BRAND NEW ADVANTAGE METHOD This simple to play yet powerful method gives players a verifiable, mathematical edge over the casinos. New York — Four of the world's best known, best-selling gambling authors and experts have announced the creation of a new blackjack instructional course based on a revolutionary new method of advantage play. The Golden Touch Blackjack (GTB) course will teach the unique card assessment method called Speed Count along with a new basic strategy dubbed Golden Touch Basic Strategy (GTBS). The course was created and developed by the best-selling gambling authors Dr. Henry Tamburin (Blackjack: Take the Money and Run!) and Frank Scoblete (Best Blackjack; The Armada Strategies for Spanish 21; and Winning Strategies at Blackjack) and blackjack software developers Dan Pronovost and Dom LoRiggio. The instructional course costs $895 and will be taught personally by Dr. Tamburin, Frank Scoblete, Dom LoRiggio and their GTB certified teachers in the following cities throughout the year: * April 24 and 25 in Las Vegas* May 22 and 23 in Atlantic City * June 19 and 20 in Chicago * July 30 and 31 in Tunica * September 25 and 26 in Las Vegas * October 23 and 24 in Biloxi/Gulfport "Unlike other discoveries at blackjack, Golden Touch Blackjack is not a card counting system in the traditional sense," said Henry Tamburin. "There are no complicated math or perception skills needed to master the seven elements in the Golden Touch Blackjack method. It is unique, unlike anything that has ever come before it and most important, it's simple to learn. " In fact players can master the Golden Touch Blackjack (GTB) method in just two days of hands-on instruction in the Golden Touch Blackjack course. According to Frank Scoblete, casino gaming's #1 best-selling author, "We are not going to make the mistake that others have made at blackjack and print this information in a book or give it away over the Internet or in articles. The only way to learn the method is to take our two-day course." Why the secrecy? "What we have here," said Dom LoRiggio, known as the "Dominator" in gaming circles, "is dynamite – a verifiable method that is so easy to learn and apply that gives players a mathematical edge over the casino in two days" So why not just publish the method in a book or tape? "Casinos are very adept at identifying certain methods of advantage play, and the more publicized it is, the better chance a casino has of intercepting the players. That's why we are keeping the numbers of enrollees low and only offering this method in our closed course," said Tamburin. But won't the casinos take counter measures against players utilizing the GTB method? Henry Tamburin doesn't think so. "Right now the casinos have no way of knowing that someone is using the GTB method because there are no software programs that exist that can detect it and it functions somewhat differently than the traditional counting systems the casinos can spot. The only ones who will know about it are those who take the course and we are taking steps to prevent casino personnel from being able to take it." According to the developers, the Golden Touch Blackjack method is strictly proprietary in nature. It also has built-in camouflage that will make anyone watching a GTB player think he isn't all that savvy – a real plus when playing in casinos that are paranoid about card counters. "A GTB player," says Scoblete, "is much more likely to play unrecognized and unmolested by the pit bosses than is a run-of-the-mill advantage player or card counter."
For years advantage-players at blackjack have been looking for simplicity and ease in use in order to extract funds from the casino coffers. Many "simple" systems have been developed that worked easily in theory but collapsed in the real world of casino play. These systems required a host of mathematical calculations and visual abilities (trying to estimate how many decks remained in a shoe or cards remained in a single deck), to make it work as advertised. To be fully functional, most card-counting systems require that players change their strategy decisions based on the deck count – and some players have spent years memorizing the hundreds of possible variations of play! Software developer Dan Pronovost, who worked for several years creating the unique elements in the GTB course, said: "We have created an extremely simple, yet powerful method of being able to tell when a player has an advantage over the house. It doesn't require an advanced degree in math to get the edge either and it doesn't require constant addition, subtraction, and division that traditional card counts use. It also doesn't require a player to change how he plays his hands. Our GTBS is a strategy that optimizes how you play against the blackjack games you choose to play in without having to incorporate changes based on your edge." "We sometimes abuse terms like 'revolutionary' and 'unique' so that they lose their impact," says Scoblete. "But Golden Touch Blackjack is indeed revolutionary and unique. What's more it will stand up to the most intense computer simulations and mathematical analysis. This isn't pie in the sky, this is a method where you can have your cake and eat it too!"
