Crazy gambling letters from nutty people #117 September 2009
Harrah's does a survey every year of the American gambler and the last one I read said there were about 54 million of us, about 30% of the adult population in other words, and that we represent something of a cross-section of American society, although somewhat richer and better educated. As such there are probably a decent number of "nuts" among the gambling cross section as there are in society as a whole. All spelling is theirs but I have punctuated some of them slightly so they are less un-understandable.
