Controlled craps shooting takes plenty of practice26 March 2013
I enjoy reading the articles that you have in various magazines and CasinoCityTimes. When I come across something you have written on craps, I always read it. I am a few months into my dice influence practicing and really enjoy it. Built a curved practice rig and my wife was cool enough to let me put it in the kitchen! It’s frustrating at times and often feels like MORE 7s are popping up, the better my throw looks or lands. But when I look at my sheets and throws, I am clearly doing better than a random roller, so that’s good. Excited comments after a long roll at the table are nice and encourage me to practice more. I was curious if I would be able to get access to your members section on Golden Touch? I have read through the forums I can find and am curious for more info. If not, I understand. If so, it is very much appreciated. Thanks for reading. Casey E. Dear Casey: Although I am no longer involved with Golden Touch you will be put on the Golden Touch website. I just sent a note to the administrator. It might take a couple of weeks. I appreciate your enjoyment of my articles because it is really nice to get feedback --- well, good feedback that is. Sometimes, especially with books, you spend months writing, then the book gets published and except for some reviews that is all you hear. Even if the book is a great seller, it seems to mostly exist in a vacuum somewhere out there. Learning a controlled throw (also known as a rhythmic roll or dice influence) is really the best way to play the game of craps. If you just make bets, then even the very best bets at the game have a house edge that you can’t overcome. After all, that is how the casino makes its money. In short, the casino has the math and the math is used to take the players’ money. Of course, a controlled throw does require a lot of practice but when you start to see positive results you realize that practice is paying off. I guess you could say, “Winning encourages more winning.” For your excellent letter I am sending you a copy of my book “The Virgin Kiss.” If any of my readers would like a free copy, just send me an e-mail to fscobe@optonline.net and if I publish your letter I’ll send one out to you. All the best in and out of the casinos! Frank Scoblete This article is provided by the Frank Scoblete Network. Melissa A. Kaplan is the network's managing editor.
