Ask Frank: The Craps Supersystem29 August 2003
Dear Robert, The Supersystem is one of several ways to bet after the 5-Count. You can use the traditional Pass and Come with odds, which is a mathematically superior bet on random rollers. You can also Place the 6 & 8 and buy the 4 and 10 (if the vig is paid only on winning bets) if you know the shooter is a rhythmic roller or controlled shooter. The Supersystem is good if there are rhythmic rollers at the table but you aren't sure what their signature numbers are. So, is the Supersystem the best? That's a matter of opinion. However, the 5-Count is the best. Go to my website www.goldentouchcraps.com for an eye-opening study of the 5-Count done by Dr. Don Catlin. Keep in mind that the only way to beat craps in the long run is to develop a controlled throw; but the 5-Count saves you money on all the shooters who hit the deck early. All the best in and out of the casinos! Do you have a question for Frank? Send it to slotexpert@comcast.net. This article is provided by the Frank Scoblete Network. Melissa A.
