Ask Frank: How Long Before a Hot Roller?25 October 2004
Dear Ted: The answer you want doesn't exist as something I can say definitively. You can go for hours without a long roll or you can walk up to a table and you can have several long rolls in a row. With that said, I think a long roll of 15 minutes to 30 minutes will occur about once every 100 to 200 shooters. Now, the cold periods do last longer if you don't use the 5-Count. By using the 5-Count you can eliminate approximately 57 percent of all the random rollers. Your money will last long enough hopefully to get on the hot shooters this way. If you are really serious about beating craps, you might consider taking a course on controlled shooting. Call 1-866-SET-DICE for more information or go to this website: www.goldentouchcraps.com. All the best in and out of the casinos!
