Hi Frank,
My name is John and I saw your dice-sets video on You Tube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWw-0YfCBy8)
and it has intrigued me and has caught my interest greatly for the past three months. I bought your and Dominator's book Golden Touch Dice Control Revolution! and must have read it forward and backward five times.
I have been going to the casino regularly to play. I know...I should practice alot before hitting the tables at the casino and playing with my hard-earned money, but I am definitely having fun and maintaining a longer dice roll without sevening out than the regular random dice rollers. So it is good entertainment for me during the winter months and I am improving each visit to the casino.
One thing I noticed in your book that needs correction is the 6s and 6t dice set pictured in the book. The numbers on the dice are not set correctly, but I figured it out after watching a guy setting the dice while playing as he set the left dice with 6 on top and 5 in front and the right dice with 6 on top and 4 in front and he was hitting the 9 point alot and also the 5 point. And setting the left dice with 6 on top and 2 in front and the right dice with 6 on top and 3 in front to roll 5s. Now I set my dice like this and have been hitting the 9 and 5 like I am supposed to.
I want to make my own practice rig with the hand rail and half table. I plan to use mdf particle board as the table top, but need a website or store that will supply the felt table layout to cover the table.
I have figured out a good dice throw on the big table at my regular casino and I'm starting to do well with it. But my dice rolls on the smaller tub-style table is also improving using a very light back swing and forward arm swing, but it takes more effort as a player is required to sit during the game, but I square my shoulders to the straight section of rubber pyramid on the wall I'm throwing at, and also the bar-style short chairs I also set squarely to the back wall straight section of rubber pyramid-the lower base section of the chair, and it works pretty good but would appreciate any further tips offered you can suggest while playing on the tub style tables to get better dice roll results.
Many happy long dice rolls to you my friend : )
John
Dear John:
I'll check on those dice sets in the book as soon as I get more copies [it sells like crazy] but the twin-six set is not really an optimal set so I'd consider switching to the Hardway set. It protects you against the seven far better than any other set.
Playing tubs is not as easy as many people think. As you stated you have to throw from a sitting position and often that back wall is slightly skewed so you might think you are hitting a flat wall but in reality you are hitting a semi-mixing bowl.
For your great letter I am giving you a free 10-day subscription to my private members-only web site at www.goldentouchcraps.com. We have over 5,000 members on this site and the conversations are interesting, lively and fun. Enjoy!
All the best in and out of the casinos!
