On Thursday, May 1, 2003, the Michigan House of Representatives passed a legislative proposal that seeks to assess Michigan's state income tax on winnings from out-of-state gamblers. Political Contribution Prohibition Results in Supplier License Denial19 February 2003
Two suppliers whose principal owners made the mistake of making political contributions to Michigan candidates after filing an initial application for a suppliers license were denied full supplier licenses by the Michigan Gaming Control Board on February 11th.
