It has been an ugly month when it comes to the relationship the City of Detroit has with the rest of the State of Michigan. With flap over the now infamous Kilpatrick draft memo to an unnamed gubernatorial candidate and the subsequent finger pointing over which side is playing the race card, old wounds in both camps have been reopened.
