A federal appeals court has dealt another setback to New Jersey’s efforts to boost its declining gaming industry with the legalization of sports betting. Galaxy Gaming Inc. on Thursday posted a modest quarterly profit as the company continues to do business in California despite the state’s gaming commission upholding a judge’s ruling that its chief executive is unsuitable to do business there. LAS VEGAS -- The Culinary union is becoming more aggressive in its campaign to unionize The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
