Labor board upholds one complaint against Station Casinos, dismisses six

The National Labor Relations Board has upheld an administrative law judge's dismissal of six out of seven unfair labor practices allegations against Station Casinos, Inc., including a complaint made by the board itself last year. Comp meals must be taxed, state Tax Commission finds

The Nevada Tax Commission voted 5-2 on Monday to require payment of sales taxes on comped and employee meals - a move resort operators, restaurant owners and employees alike say will cut into profits as the tourist industry recovers from recession. Cantor Fitzgerald seeks gaming license in Macau

Regulators approve William Hill's Nevada gaming license

William Hill plc, Britain's largest bookmaker, was licensed to operate Thursday by the Nevada Gaming Commission, which unanimously supported its acquisition of three sportsbook companies. The Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria broke ground Monday on a $433 million hotel-casino in Northern California. Steve Wynn invests $15 million in Pie Face

Steve Wynn has bought a $15 million slice of Pie Face USA, a U.S. subsidiary of an Australia-based bakery-cafe chain known for meat pot pies.
