Wynn Resorts second-quarter earnings fall short of estimates

LAS VEGAS -- Wynn Resorts, Limited, the casino company founded by billionaire Steve Wynn, reported a second-quarter profit Monday that fell short of analysts’ estimates as Macau saw revenue grow at a slower pace than in Las Vegas. William Hill on Wednesday opened its upgraded race and sports at the Edgewater Hotel and Casino in Laughlin, just in time for the start of the summer meet at Del Mar.
