Wife of Accused says Casino Robbery was an 'Act of Desperation'

SPOKANE, Washington -- As reported by News 4: "A Spokane Valley man now faces first degree theft charges, after police say he stole 15 thousand dollars from the casino where he worked.

"Timothy Quaschnick was arrested on Monday, after police say they caught him on tape stealing the money from Lilac Lanes Casino.

"...Quaschnick's wife tells News Four that her husband has a gambling problem she didn't know about, and, she's devastated by what it could do to her family.

"...Quaschnick faces up to five years in prison if convicted..."
