SugarHouse Casino unveils September promotions

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Fishtown Hops, the beer garden at SugarHouse Casino, welcomes Fall Fest with seasonal ale, s'mores and apple cider sangria. September's entertainment and promotional calendar includes instant high hands in the Poker Night in America Poker Room and football game specials, while country music performer Scotty McCreery performs in The Event Center on Saturday, 16 September at 9 p.m.

Gaming promotions, contests and sweepstakes
The Birds Win, You Win! — If Philadelphia's hometown pro football team wins 10, 17 or 24 September, eligible guests will receive a $10 food comp the following day. To be eligible, guests must have played at SugarHouse using their Rush Rewards card on game day and have an email address on file. The food comp can be redeemed and used through the following Sunday until 11:59 p.m. The promotion will run throughout the entire regular season.

$5K High Limit Blackjack Sweepstakes — Beginning Friday, 1 September until 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, 30 September, active table game players who are dealt a blackjack while playing in pit 11 will receive a manual entry for a chance to win $5,000. Entries must be filled out and dropped into the raffle drum located at the end of pit 11 in advance of the 10 p.m. drawing on Saturday, 30 September.

Spin to Win New Member Promotion — New members who sign up for a Rush Rewards card can spin to win at least $10 Free Play with a chance to win up to $500 Free Play. New members from New York State, with New York identification, can sign up for a Rush Rewards card to spin and win at least $50 Free Play.

Poker – Instant High Hand Progressive Jackpots — Every qualifying hand at a cash table in the Poker Night in America Poker Room will instantly earn a progressive jackpot. All four of a kind and straight flush hands will earn between $50 and $599, except the royal flush, which will grow daily until it is hit and will never pay less than $200. During this around-the-clock promotion, qualifying hands will be paid the posted amount generated through the promotional jackpot fund. In addition, players with a high hand between 2 a.m. and 3 p.m. will be paid double the posted amount. SugarHouse will also continue to run its nightly 30-minute high hand promotions, and players will be eligible to win both promotions with the same hand. Food and beverage
Philadelphia Football Games Special — Beginning 10 September, guests can purchase $3 Miller Lite 16 oz. cans during Philadelphia professional football games. Games are on 10, 17 and 24 September.

Fall Fest at Fishtown Hops — The seasons are changing and so is Fishtown Hops. Located on the riverwalk behind SugarHouse Casino, the beer garden is trading in its summer style for Fall Fest beginning Thursday, 7 September, just in time for football season. Fire pits and hay bales are replacing sunflowers and summer ale, dressing Fishtown Hops accordingly for the fall season. S'mores, apple cider sangria and Bavarian pretzels, along with 65" and 80" televisions will turn the beer garden into the ultimate fall hangout.

The beer garden features daily happy hours from 5-7 p.m. Fishtown Hops' hours of operation are:
  • Monday, 5 p.m.-midnight.
  • Thursday, 5 p.m.-midnight.
  • Friday, 5 p.m.-2 a.m.
  • Saturday, noon-2 a.m.
  • Sunday, noon-midnight.

Fire Pits & Football — Fishtown Hops begins its fall transition with "Fire Pits & Football," a kickoff event corresponding with the launch of the NFL's 2017-18 season. On 7 September, Philadelphia news site Billy Penn and the beer garden welcome guests to enjoy food and drink specials, while watching New England host Kansas City in the league's opener.

From 5 to 7 p.m., guests can sip on $4 Jefferson cocktails and 1800 tequila, while munching on delicious mac 'n' cheese crab bites, original Philly cheesesteak rolls and wings smothered in mojito, parmesan garlic and beer-b-q sauces. In addition to the drink specials, all appetizers are buy one, get one free during the event's happy hour.

Events and entertainment
Scotty McCreery — Country music entertainer Scotty McCreery brings his deep voice to the SugarHouse Casino Event Center stage on Saturday, 16 September at 9 p.m. The singer/songwriter will perform fan-favorite chart-toppers and some of his newest material, including his latest single, "Five More Minutes." Tickets for his performance cost $49 to $69.

Boxing — Friday night boxing comes to the SugarHouse Casino Event Center 22 September at 7 p.m. The schedule of events is as follows:
  • News Conference — Wednesday, 20 September from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the North Entrance lobby.
  • Weigh-Ins — Thursday, 21 September from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in The Event Center.
  • Boxing — Friday, 22 September from 7 to 11 p.m. in The Event Center; doors open at 6 p.m.

Live music
Celebrate the weekend by putting on your dancing shoes and partying with all of your favorite cover bands. Enjoy live entertainment, food and drinks in The Refinery from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
