SugarHouse Casino hosts $100K guaranteed poker tournament

21 June 2017

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The nonstop poker action in the SugarHouse Casino Poker Night in America Poker Room continues this week with the summer edition of the $100,000 Guaranteed SugarRush Challenge. The multi-day No-Limit Texas Hold'em poker tournament runs from 21-25 June.

The SugarRush Challenge has become a poker room staple with the last three tournament prize pools averaging more than $140,000. In March, there were 735 entries that totaled $175,835 and created a first place prize of $58,666.

"As the SugarHouse Casino Poker Night in America Poker Room brand continues to grow, we're always looking to keep players excited," said Matt Glantz, poker advisor to Rush Street Gaming, SugarHouse Casino's parent company. "The $100,000 Guaranteed SugarRush Challenge is one example of what players have come to expect from us."

Day 1 of the event features 25,000 starting stacks for $250 with two starting flights each day from 21-24 June at noon and 7 p.m. Players can opt to enter directly into Day 2 on 25 June at noon to receive a 100,000 chip stack for $1,100. Tournament details and multi-table satellite information is available on the Poker Night in America Poker Room webpage.
