Lucky Dragon Casino to welcome Year of the Rooster

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Lucky Dragon Hotel & Casino will be the premiere location to experience Lunar New Year in Las Vegas. Celebrations will include a lion dance, multiple days of giveaways and gaming promotions, and a prix fixe menu at Pearl Ocean, Lucky Dragon's acclaimed dim sum restaurant.

Lunar New Year festivities kick off on 28 January with a traditional Chinese lion dance around the property at 6 p.m. to bring good fortune in the Year of the Rooster.

Dining:
Pearl Ocean will offer diners a prix fixe menu for lunch and dinner from 28 January to 5 February.
The prix fixe meal is $238 for four people, and includes:
  • Lotus Root, Black Moss & Pork Tongue Soup
  • Barbecue Pork
  • Braised Pork Feet with Red Bean Curd Sauce
  • Stir-Fried Sliced Conch
  • Crispy Free Ranch Chicken
  • Live Dungeness Crab
  • Fresh Fruit Platter
Each person over four is an additional $50, and allows another dish to be added. Guests can choose from:
  • Stir-Fried Crab Paste w/ Shrimp and Broccoli
  • Wok-Fried Scallop with Greens
  • Dried Scallop Cabbage Wrap
  • Wok-Fried Shark-fin, Crab Meat w/ Eggs
  • Crispy Honey Oyster
Gaming:
There will be multiple days of giveaways for those who earn points in the Casino, including:
  • 30 January – Lunar New Year calendar giveaway
  • 31 January – Lunar New Year t-shirt giveaway
  • 1 February – Tea pot giveaway
  • 2 February – Chinese knot giveaway
  • 3 February – Year of the Rooster commemorative plaque giveaway
  • 31 January & 2 February – 8x points on slots
Dragon Club members will benefit from multiple days of gaming promotions, including:
  • 28 January - 5 February – $50,000 in promo chip drawings. $10,000 in promo chips will be given away each Friday, Saturday and Sunday with 20 winners each day. Drawings will be held at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.
