Caesars Tahoe Unveils 'The Zone'

NEVADA – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Just in time for the madness of March, Caesars Tahoe (soon to be MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa) unveils "The Zone," which includes a newly remodeled sports book and a brand new poker room.

A haven for all things athletics, "The Zone" will feature more than 40 large-screen TVs, projection screens and plasmas that will showcase all of the day's top race and sports action, making it the ideal place for avid fans to cheer on their favorite basketball teams. The sports book will include seating for 100 and will offer nine 12" individual TVs, on a first come-first served basis.

For guests wanting to try their luck at the tables during the full-court frenzy, Caesars Tahoe is excited to unveil its brand new poker room. This eight-table non-smoking room will feature various buy-in levels of the popular Texas Hold 'Em game. There's no need to miss any of the sporting action either, because the poker room will be surrounded by several large plasma screens highlighting the hottest games going on at the moment. The poker room will open daily at 11 a.m. and is adjacent to the race and sports book.

"The opening of our remodeled sports book and the launch of our new poker room will really kick up the excitement level at the property," said Kim Sumimoto, casino general manager of Caesars Tahoe/MontBleu. "This is the perfect way to begin our transition into becoming MontBleu and it's just a taste of what we have in store for the coming months."
