Palace Indian Gaming Center Chooses Agilysys6 July 2005CLEVELAND, Ohio – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Agilysys, Inc., (Nasdaq: AGYS) a leading provider of enterprise computer solutions and hospitality software solutions, announced that Palace Indian Gaming Center & Hotel in Lemoore, CA, has selected the Lodging Management System (LMS) and modules LMS ResNet and LMS ShowGate to streamline guest service at the property, which is owned and managed by the Tachi Yokut tribe of Santa Rosa Rancheria. A new hotel, scheduled to open March 2006, will feature 255 guest rooms. LMS is an integrated property management software system designed to create economies of scale and provide greater control of front office, accounting and housekeeping operations. The system links customer gaming accounts to hotel accounts and is easily expandable to incorporate additional software modules from Agilysys and other vendors. "We needed a powerful and flexible property management system that can grow with our hotel and casino operation," said Grant Channing, director of hotel operations at Palace Gaming. "LMS and its modules offered exactly what we were looking for in terms of application integration and system functionality, and the new Web interface really put the system over the top. Also, Agilysys has an excellent track record. Everything is first class." LMS ResNet is a Web-based real-time reservation system that allows customers to check hotel room and rate availability, book reservations, pay for a room with a credit card and receive an e-mail confirmation. However, unlike many online reservation systems that require guests to e-mail a request for a room and hotel staff to complete the actual reservation process, LMS ResNet requires no staffing. Instead, all booking is handled through the hotel's own computer. LMS ShowGate provides integrated theater, stadium and attraction ticketing services with total venue management capability. The software offers a wide variety of features and functionality such as choice of ticket assignment, configurable controls, file maintenance and listing and numerous method-of- payment options. The software also allows hotels to comp tickets or charge them to a guest's room or credit card. Palace Gaming is using the system for ticketing at its 4,000-seat outdoor events center. "In addition to a property management system, we needed a robust ticketing system," said Channing. "As Palace Gaming continues to expand and bring in big-name entertainment, LMS ShowGate will ensure that we can handle large volumes of ticket purchases while offering guests the highest level of customer service." "The decision by Palace Indian Gaming Center & Hotel to implement LMS and its modules LMS ResNet and LMS ShowGate clearly demonstrates the property's commitment to guest service," said Bill Lashley, senior vice president and general manager, Agilysys. "We are confident our products will streamline overall operations, ensure seamless service and provide an exceptional guest experience."
