PokerTek to showcase a new game for Heads-Up Challenge at AMOA 200822 September 2008ATTHEWS, North Carolina -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- PokerTek, Inc. will showcase a new game and innovative new features for its Heads-Up Challenge amusement product at the Amusement and Machine Operators Association (AMOA) Expo in Las Vegas this week. "Since the creation of Heads-Up Challenge, our goal has been to offer a variety of games that allow players to compete head-to-head," said James Crawford, President of PokerTek. "For this first initiative, we've stepped outside of the poker realm, and created a fun and entirely new game for Heads- Up Challenge that showcases the power and flexibility of this platform. We're keeping this new game under wraps until the show, but we're looking forward to unveiling it to our distributors and operators at AMOA this week." AMOA attendees will also get to see new enhancements to the flagship World Series of Poker Texas Hold'em game, including: multi-player bracketed tournaments, "Add-On's," and more configurable settings, like starting chip stacks and operator options. These new features allow the game to be customized to increase player demand. In addition, the Monitor Package upgrade allows onlookers to follow live game-play by watching an attached flat screen monitor. And when the game is idle, the monitor displays eye-catching attract mode graphics and sounds to spark player interest. This new game and exciting new features can be seen at PokerTek's Heads-Up Challenge Booth #1010 during the Amusement and Machine Operators Association (AMOA) Expo, September 10-12, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
