UltimateBet launches satellites for UBOC

MIAMI -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- UltimateBet today released the satellite poker tournament schedule for UBOC 2009, UltimateBet's Online Championship series, and unleashed an impressive Main Event calendar that features 22 guaranteed events, two $1 million tournaments and over $3 million in guaranteed prize pool money.

Past participants in UBOC will immediately do a double take after seeing the details of UBOC 2009. Of this year's 22 events, two feature guaranteed prize pools of $1 million apiece.

Making up 10 of the 22 events is a parallel series being billed as Mini UBOC. With the exception of the two $1 million tournaments, each UBOC event will be mirrored by a separate Mini UBOC event where players can buy in for approximately 10% of the corresponding UBOC event and compete for a lucrative prize pool.

UBOC 2009 kicks off on January 9th, 2009 and runs through January 18th. Satellites for the popular online poker championship series begin on September 15th, 2009.
