Mount Airy Casino hosts "Toys for Tots"3 September 2008PARADISE TOWNSHIP, Pennsylvania -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- A "Classic Car Show," sponsored by the Pocono Marine Corps League and hosted by Mount Airy Casino Resort, will be held on Sunday, September 7th to benefit the "Toys for Tots" program. The event will be held at the Golf Course Club House off Woodland Road adjacent to Mount Airy from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The program will feature a "9/11" Tribute and the ever popular "Joey and the Original T-Birds" musical band. DJ Raul will be playing music during the event. Food and beverage items will be available for sale with proceeds to go "Toys for Tots." Conducted by the US Marine Corps Reserve, "Toys for Tots" has been in operation for 60 years and collects toys for donation to children of all faiths, during the Holiday Season. Admission is free for the general public and trophies will be awarded f or categories of classic cars. |
