Isle of Capri Casino closed due to flooding

28 April 2008

ST. LOUIS, Missouri -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. (Nasdaq: ISLE) announced today that as of 3:00 p.m. central time its casino property in Davenport, Iowa has been closed temporarily until flood waters recede.

"We have been closely watching the Mississippi River for several weeks. Up to this point, river stages had remained at a safe level for both our guests and team members alike. Unfortunately, continued rain to our north is resulting in the rise of the Mississippi River and access to our property has been compromised. We continue to serve guests at the Isle of Capri casino and hotel in Bettendorf which has not been impacted," said Mo Hyder, vice president and general manager. "We are working with our management staff to ensure that our team members are not adversely impacted and we have adequate insurance in place to cover the closure."

Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc., founded in 1992, is dedicated to providing its customers with an exceptional gaming and entertainment experience at each of its 18 casino properties. The Company owns and operates casinos in Biloxi, Lula and Natchez, Mississippi; Lake Charles, Louisiana; Bettendorf, Davenport, Marquette and Waterloo, Iowa; Boonville, Caruthersville and Kansas City, Missouri; two casinos in Black Hawk, Colorado; and a casino and harness track in Pompano Beach, Florida. Isle of Capri Casinos' international gaming interests include a casino that it operates in Freeport, Grand Bahama, a casino in Coventry, England, and a two-thirds ownership interest in casinos in Dudley and Wolverhampton, England.
