Tropicana hosts mass wedding

8 January 2007

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey – (PRESS RELEASE) -- On Valentine's Day, Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at 2 pm, Tropicana Casino and Resort will welcome all brides-and-grooms-to-be as well as anyone who is interested in renewing their vows to a mass Wedding and Vow Renewal Ceremony in The Quarter. The ceremony, officiated by Atlantic City Mayor Robert Levy, will take place in Fiesta Plaza followed by a Wedding Cake Reception. Each couple that participates will be entered to win an extravagant Honeymoon Tropicana Package which includes first-rate accommodations, a romantic dinner for two, a decadent dessert and an exquisite treatment at the East Coast's most lavish spa, bluemercury.

To register for the Tropicana's Wedding and Vow Renewal Ceremony, please call 609.340.4029 by February 1. For more information, please visit the web site at Tropicana.net.

The Tropicana is also offering a Deluxe Proposal Package that will ensure she says "Yes!" The package includes first-rate accommodations, a romantic dinner for two, a decadent dessert, a dinner for six to celebrate the occasion and an extraordinary diamond engagement ring for when it's time to pop the question.

The Deluxe Proposal Package will take a couple on a romantic journey through the Tropicana beginning with a limousine ride to the hotel, where an exotic suite covered in rose petals will await them. After checking in, couples will enjoy an intimate dinner for two "behind the curtain" at Red Square, followed by a $1,000 Brownie dessert at Brulee: The Dessert Experience. Tropicana will offer a grand celebration dinner at Wellington's for up to six guests for when it's time to pop the question. Brandeis Jewelers will offer a private ring consultation and ring valued up to $10,000. The entire package will cost $15,000 and is available through June 2007.

To book this package, call the Tropicana Media Services department at 609.340.4029. All details are subject to change. Transportation is valid in the tri-state area.

The Quarter is the city's hottest destination non-gaming complex for dining, shopping and entertainment. Celebrating 1940s Havana, the two-story, 200,000-square-foot indoor facility replicates the Cuban capital's vibrant "Old World" streetscape. When combined with the original facilities including The Marketplace at the Boardwalk, Tropicana offers three times more dining, entertainment, retail and spa choices than any casino in Atlantic City.
