Jackpot Casinos Results Up

JACKPOT, Nevada – As reported by the Twin Falls News Times: "A pair of casinos just south of the Idaho border raked in 5.0 percent more revenue than a year ago in the fourth quarter, helping to more than triple operating income there.

"Jackpot's Cactus Petes Resort Casino and The Horseshu Hotel & Casino, owned by Las Vegas-based Ameristar Casinos Inc., brought in operating income of $1.9 million in the fourth quarter and saw operating income margins rise by almost 10 percentage points, Ameristar said Thursday.

"For the full year, the two Jackpot operations saw combined net revenues rise 2.3 percent and operating income increase 11.7 percent…"
