Pimlico Meet Handle Up Slightly

MARYLAND – As reported by the Thoroughbred Times: "Maryland Jockey Club reported slight increases in total handle and on-track handle for the 48-day spring meet at Pimlico Race Course, which concluded on Sunday.

"Total wagering from all sources was $266.2-million, a 0.5% increase from $265-million for 48 dates in 2003. The on-track handle was $24.4-million, a 0.8% increase from $24.2-million last year…"
