Woman Poker Player Magazine's First Thousand Dollar Freeroll

The tournament, taking place at Titan Poker on Friday, November 25th, is open to all players who sign up and participate in the discussions on the Woman Poker Player forums. There is no cost to enter.

Women represent more than 25 percent of players in online poker rooms, and that is increasing the numbers in live games as well. Atttesting to this, The Borgata recently held a ladies only tournament that attracted over 500 players, and the WSOP 2005 ladies event had over 600 entries.

"We receive incredibly positive feedback on our publication from both our readers and advertisers." Said publisher Maryann Morrison. "These freeroll tournaments will be a way to say thank you, along with offering an opportunity for some of our brick and mortar players to try their skills online."

Woman Poker Player magazine's editor in chief is poker legend, Barbara Enright. The magazine premiered in April 2005, and has more than doubled in circulation since its launch.
