U.K. Lotto Hits Record Low18 February 2003U.K. -- As reported by ITN: ``Sales for the main Lottery game plunged to a record low at the weekend, according to its operator Camelot. ``Sales for Saturday night's Lotto draw were £38,419,826 - the worst since the National Lottery was launched in 1994. ``Camelot said the slump was expected as it launched alternative games in a bid to revive interest among the public. ``...A Camelot spokeswoman conceded that further falls in Lotto ticket sales could not be ruled out..." |
