TVG Handle Increases to $45-Million In 200111 April 2002OREGON – As reported by the Thoroughbred Times: "Television Games Network handled approximately $45.4-million through its interactive account wagering hub in Oregon in 2001, a 142% increase from the roughly $18.7-million in wagers in 2000, Oregon Racing Commission Executive Director Steve Barham said on Wednesday. "TVG took over the operation of its wagering hub in Oregon from NTRA Services in July 2001. Since then, it posted third-quarter handle of $12.4-million and fourth-quarter handle of $13.8-million for the year ended December 31. "Those numbers were up from $4.3-million and $5.7-million for the corresponding third- and fourth-quarter periods in 2000…" |
