TrackPower Terminates Armstrong Deal11 April 2002NEW YORK--(Press Release)-- TrackPower, Inc. (TPWR: OTCBB) announced today that discussions regarding the Armstrong acquisition have been terminated. TrackPower and its partners had raised over US $10M by way of equity and debt to acquire Armstrong Holdings (Brampton) LTD and were looking forward to closing the transaction. However, an impasse was reached over certain issues and the parties could not finalize the agreement. TrackPower has identified other opportunities in the horse racing industry and is pursuing them aggressively. We believe that we can close at least one of these before the end of April. |
