Torrey Pines Team - AIE and Casinos of the South Pacific31 May 1997RAROTONGA, Cook Islands -- Casinos of the South Pacific (COSP) has just signed a licensing agreement with Atlantic International Entertainment Ltd. to enhance the current gaming software at its money wagering site at www.ck.cosp.com from which Torrey Pines Nevada Inc. receives 80% of the net revenues. COSP, with the assistance of Torrey Pines, has entered into this agreement to enhance the current software and create an interactive gaming site, where a player in Asia and a player in Europe can play at the same table and see each other's wagers. COSP has committed $410,000 for the gaming software. The games that are included in this software package are Draw Poker, Deuces Wild, Jokers Wild, Black Jack, Roulette, and five different slot machines that offer $0.25 to $3.00 per play. Over the next six months, additional games will be offered, some of which include: Five Reel Slots, Caribbean Stud, Baccarat, Craps and Keno. Editor's Note: In an addendum, Torrey Pines Nevada Inc. said that Casinos of the South Pacific will soon implement its multi-language casino sites, which will be offered in Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, French, Spanish, Portuguese and German. Company spokesmen said that this development is six months ahead of schedule. To RGT's knowledge, this appears to be the most extensive range of language options offered to date among online gaming sites. |
