The World of ResidenSea Casino Opening Delayed12 March 2002CRIPPLE CREEK, Colorado – (Press Release) -- Century Casinos, Inc. (Nasdaq: CNTY) today announced that they have been informed by ResidenSea Ltd. of a delay in its maiden voyage of The World of ResidenSea (The World), which had been previously scheduled for March 7, 2002. ResidenSea Ltd expects to begin operations later this month. As previously announced, Century has an exclusive five year concession agreement with ResidenSea Ltd.. The casino for The World has been fully installed with 40 gaming positions and is ready for operations upon delivery. The delay is not expected to significantly impact earnings for the Company for the first quarter of 2002. The World is the world's first luxury residential resort community at sea continuously circumnavigating the globe. It offers the comfort and privacy of a luxury vacation home, the personal service of a world-class resort and the mobility of a grand ocean liner. Century Casinos is an international casino company led by a team of gaming industry professionals who have developed and operated more than 100 casinos worldwide. The Company owns and operates Womacks Casino & Hotel in Cripple Creek, Colorado; owns (65%) and operates The Caledon Casino, Hotel & Spa near Cape Town, South Africa; has a five-year casino concession to operate four casinos aboard the ultra-luxury Silversea cruise vessels; has a five-year casino concession to operate the casino aboard The World of ResidenSea cruise vessel, the world's first ocean going luxury residential resort; and manages the Millennium Casino in the Marriott Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic.
