The Ventian and The Palazzo release entertainment listings for May

THE VENETIAN THEATRE
ZZ TOP:

INSPIRE Featuring Jason Mraz: Grammy Award-winner Jason Mraz will headline the second annual INSPIRE event presented by Sands Cares, with all proceeds from ticket sales benefiting Sands Cares Accelerator Program Members, including Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth and the Marty Hennessy Inspiring Children Foundation. 18 May at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $59 (plus tax and applicable fees), go on sale March 23 at 10 a.m. PT, and can be purchased at any box office at The Venetian or The Palazzo, online at venetian.com or by calling 702.414.9000 or 866.641.7469. Junior League of Las Vegas' Fashion Forward:
Part fundraising event, part community outreach initiative, Fashion Forward provides budding fashion design students a premier opportunity to design and construct their own creations - all with the hopes of making it to the final runway challenge, where their ready-to-wear designs will be modeled for the public. 28 April (11 a.m. Reception; 1 p.m. Performance). TAO BEACH
Since opening in September 2005, this design-driven dining and entertainment complex in The Venetian has proven to be a hot spot like its sister venue in New York City. The multi-faceted and multi-story "Asian City" house a restaurant, banquet facilities, lounge, nightclub and beach in 60,000 square-feet. Located on top of the venue is TAO Beach, which is open daily during pool season and brings all of the aspects of the restaurant and club to an incredible daytime party.

BUDDY V'S RISTORANTE:
Buddy V's Ristorante features The Fabulous Baker Boys in the lounge, Tuesdays through Thursdays from 6 to 10 p.m., and Sundays for brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

CHICA: In addition to a vibrant menu, Chica is also turning up the heat on weekends, beginning at 9:30 p.m. Guests are invited to stay as the restaurant creates a dance floor by the bar. A live DJ will kick the night into high gear with Latin and dance music.

ONCE & SUSHISAMBA: During the month of May, live Latin entertainment can be found in front of Once & SushiSamba restaurants - every Friday, Saturday and Sunday (plus Memorial Day), featuring a soloist from 5 to 7 p.m. and a five-piece Latin band from 7 to 11 p.m.
