Thai Province to Study Effects of Legalizing Casinos10 September 2002THAILAND – As reported by the Bangkok Post: "Provincial authorities in Chon Buri have set up a panel to study the good and bad sides of legalising casinos. "The move follows calls for casinos to be allowed in Pattaya to stop the drain of money to gambling joints in Cambodia.
