TCBets.com Banner Reaches Saratoga

25 August 2005

SAN JOSE, Costa Rica – (PRESS RELEASE) -- The banner that has been flying over racetracks across the country has finally made its way to Saratoga Springs, New York. The 35 by 100 foot-long banner can be seen in the skies above Saratoga for miles around promoting TCBets.com, an offshore racebook. TCBets.com is the largest offshore racebook in the world, according to several racing publications, including The Original Horse Racing Guide.

The message of "Why bet at the track?" has many in horse racing concerned. Recently, the general manager of Lone Star Park was quoted in the Dallas-Fort Worth Star Telegram saying that the tracks can't compete with the amenities offered by companies like TCBets.com. Horse bettors have been betting with offshore racebooks, such as TCBets.com, because of the high sign-up bonuses offered and cash back on every bet made -- win or lose.

CEO David Banks says, "Why should you bet at the track? The track charges for admission, parking and programs. With TCBets.com, you can stay home and avoid the lines and hassles. And we give our customers the highest rebates in the world. Currently, we are offering new customers $125 for free when they sign up with us. What track can match that offer?"

Banks feels that companies, such as his, offer more than any racetrack can ever offer. He continued, "Next time you go to the track, try and bet on a football game, or other sporting event. You can't. With offshore racebooks you can bet on horse racing, sports and play in an online casino all with one account. The tracks have stuck it to their customers for years. Now the horse racing bettor has a better option."

TCBets.com plans to fly the banner over several other tracks to familiarize the public with other options that may be available to them.

In the near future, TCBets.com will announce its plans to bid on the NYRA franchise, which is set to expire in 2007. Banks says, "We have no problem with the $250 million franchise fee. Lately, there have been race-fixing scandals, milk shaking of horses, tellers committing fraud, and the list goes on. I feel that the public deserves a better deal than it is currently getting. Let's bring confidence back to horse racing."
