Scaggs, born in Texas and raised with an abiding respect for a wide spectrum of American roots music, has combined rock, jazz, R & B and blues to create his trademark Boz Scaggs sound. "My songwriting and my style became more complex as I listened, learned, borrowed and stole and put my music together." Much to the delight of his enthusiastic fans, Scaggs' dedication to his musical instincts has culminated in what have now become all-time Boz favorites such as, Lido Shuffle, Look What You've Done to Me, Lo Down, Harbor Lights and, of course, the passionate and overwhelming lyrics of We're All Alone.
