Tabcorp to cut jobs5 December 2006AUSTRALIA – As reported by the Australia Courier-Mail: "Australia's biggest gaming group, Tabcorp Holdings, will cut up to 100 jobs and streamline some of its business functions to save up to $21 million each year in costs. "The company said it would streamline some corporate and devolve its technical services functions to its two main business divisions, Australian business and casinos. "Tabcorp chief executive Matthew Slatter said the group would save $9 million under a plan to build a shared services centre in Melbourne to provide finance and human resources functions. "Another $12 million will be saved through the devolution of technical services functions to the business divisions and the streamlining of corporate functions…"
