Suspect Caught in Memphis After Tunica Casino Robbery24 September 2003Memphis, Tennessee – As reported by the Associated Press: ``Officials say a man who led police on a high-speed chase after a Mississippi casino robbery is in police custody tonight (Tuesday) in Memphis. ``Tunica County spokesman Jeff Piselli says Reginald Grant has been charged with at least one count of robbery and other charges may be pending. ``Police say Grant robbed the Horseshoe Casino in Tunica around 8 p.m. Monday wearing a black wig. ``Grant fled the casino with an undisclosed amount of money but left the wig behind. ``He led officers from Tunica, DeSoto County and Southaven on a high speed chase across the state line…" |
