Sr. VP named for LPCiminelli

BUFFALO, New York -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Frank L. Ciminelli, II has been named Senior Vice President of LPCiminelli, the largest construction group in Upstate New York. Ciminelli will expand his role as the leading project executive on the company's portfolio of gaming and hospitality projects.

"We have become a leader in gaming construction thanks in many ways to Frank's leadership, talent and unbelievable work ethic," said Joseph A. Mannarino, Executive Vice President in charge of LPCiminelli's Construction Management Division. "He is a hands-on expert in all aspects of preconstruction, including budget development, master activity scheduling, and logistics planning. Now with this new role, Frank will become more involved in the overall strategic direction of the company."

Mr. Ciminelli's expertise in managing concurrent design and construction has helped LPCiminelli establish a solid reputation within the gaming industry. He recently completed the construction of the Mount Airy Resort & Casino, located at the site of the former Mount Airy Lodge in Pennsylvania. He is currently involved in projects at Hoosier Park in Indiana and Valley View Downs in Pennsylvania.

His resume of successful projects also includes the Southland Park Gaming & Racing expansion in Arkansas and the expansion of Saratoga Gaming & Raceway, New York State's first video gaming property. Other successful gaming projects under his leadership include Fairgrounds Gaming & Raceway, Finger Lakes Gaming & Raceway, Harrington Raceway's Midway Slots, and Wheeling Island Casino-Hotel-Racetrack. He also facilitated the remarkable eight-month delivery of Tioga Downs, a project originally scheduled for 18 months.

Mr. Ciminelli earned his bachelor of science degree, with a concentration in industrial engineering, from Marietta College and his master of science, with a concentration in construction management, from The Catholic University of America. Before joining LPCiminelli, Frank worked for Clark Construction Group in Washington, D.C. and Hunt Construction in Cincinnati.
