Sociedade de Jogos de Macau Profit Up 50%

MACAU – As reported by the Ponto Final: "Stanley Ho Hung-sun's Sociedade de Jogos de Macau reports a net profit of 3.3 billion patacas (US $ 412 million) last year, an increase of 50 per cent on 2002

"Macau gaming mogul Stanley Ho Hung-sun said on Wednesday his casinos generated a net profit of 3.3 billion patacas (US $ 412 million) last year, an increase of 50 per cent on 2002.

"…Ho, who has dominated Macau's gaming and betting industry since 1962, also said that the Macau Jockey Club, which he also chairs, hade made a modest net profit of 42 million patacas last year, adding he hoped that the jockey clubs of Hong Kong and Macau could soon sign a 'good neighbourhood agreement' to improve co-operation between the two sides.
