Shuffle Master to Create 'Chicago' Slot Game

LAS VEGAS -- (Press Release) -- Shuffle Master, Inc. (NASDAQ: SHFL) announced today that it has signed an agreement with Miramax to produce a slot game based on the award winning movie, Chicago.

"We captured the essence of the movie in the slot machine," stated Brooke Dunn, Senior Vice President. "Our game is true to the storyline and reflects the sexy humor of the movie. Our 'Jailhouse Confessions' bonus is really fun to play."

The Company will debut six other titles, as well. Led by the slot adaptation of John Gray's best selling Men are From Mars, Women are From Venus(TM), Shuffle Master will also exhibit slot games based on the hilarious antics of Super Dave(TM). The other titles being introduced include a multi-coin video poker entitled Parlay Poker(TM), Slot Bugs(TM) and Marvel(TM)'s DareDevil and Heroes and Villains(TM).

The Company has two new versions of its hit game Press Your Luck(TM). One is a 15-line rendition of the original 9-line game. The other is entitled Press Your Luck IV, and features a new multi-play format with four games running simultaneously.

"These exciting titles are available in upgrade kits, as well as in our cabinet," added George Taninatz, Slot Product Manager. "Slot operators will be able to get these great games on their floors soon. Chicago has been submitted for regulatory approval and should be ready for installation by the end of the year. The new four-play version of Press Your Luck will take coin-in and casino revenues to an all new level."

A new product line, Table Master(TM), will also be debuted at the annual exhibit. Table Master is the brand name for the multi-player table games the Company acquired from Sega Gaming. The games offered will be electronic table versions of Let It Ride Bonus®, Three Card Poker®, Blackjack and Derby Deluxe(TM) (a horse race game).
