Shuffle Master Products Introduced to New Jersey

The Company noted that it expects to secure incremental leases for more than 70 ACE shufflers in Atlantic City, replacing previously sold older model ``BG'' units. Thirty-four of these leased units are being installed this week.

Shuffle Master also announced that Three Card Poker®, the specialty table game that the Company acquired last year, is expected to have its first Atlantic City installation in the Sands casino within the next week.

Joseph J. Lahti, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Shuffle Master, stated, ``We are excited to bring the ACE and Three Card Poker to Atlantic City. We expect that New Jersey casinos will see the benefits that casinos around the world have seen with the ACE. These benefits include increased shuffling speed, improved security, reduced size, attractive design, programmability, and overall ease of use.

"We also expect that Atlantic City players will respond enthusiastically to Three Card Poker, as has been the case in other venues where the game is played. With this installation, there will be over 235 Three Card Poker tables in action in fifteen gaming jurisdictions.''
