Scientific Games for New Mexico Pilot Program

NEW YORK – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Scientific Games Corporation (Nasdaq: SGMS) announced that the New Mexico Gaming Control Board has chosen it to conduct a pilot project for a gaming central monitor system replacement by installing its new AEGIS(TM) Video system. The pilot begins in early October and will migrate up to 20% of New Mexico's gaming machines to the new system. This system will communicate to the existing gaming machines utilizing the existing proprietary protocol and to new gaming machines using the industry standard SAS protocol.

During fiscal year 2003, The State of New Mexico Gaming had revenues from approximately 2,300 gaming machines of $72 million.
