Redskins Boast Highest Victory Total7 August 2000LAS VEGAS, Nevada—Aug. 7, 2000—As reported by Sportsticker: "The Rams still are favored to win the 2001 Super Bowl over the Redskins, but according to a recently released regular season 'over/under' victories proposition, Washington is expected to win more games than St. Louis during the regular season. "…`You have to take into account a team's schedule, as well as public sentiment,' explained Cesar Robaina, odds manager for Las Vegas Sports Consultants. "…`Not only is Washington a very hot team with the public right now, but the Redskins also have a slightly softer schedule than the Rams so they could win more games. However, we believe St. Louis will be tougher in the playoffs so we still have the Rams favored to win it all.' "Based on last year's regular-season victory totals, Denver is expected to make the biggest rebound, as much as a full four games. That's what having a healthy Terrell Davis can do for a team. "…Other teams that LVSC believes will be vastly improved include Cleveland, Atlanta and New Orleans. "Teams that are not expected to live up to last season's victory totals include Indianapolis, Tennessee, Buffalo and Minnesota.
