Readers Select Best Casinos13 July 2000July 13, 2000 – As reported by Best Fares Magazine: "Casino Player magazine presented the results of its annual Best of Gaming poll for the year 2000, published in the July issue of the magazine. More than 7,000 readers participated in this year's survey, naming the best hotels, casinos, restaurants, entertainment and attractions in the following gaming jurisdictions: Las Vegas, Reno, Lake Tahoe, and Laughlin (all in Nevada); Atlantic City, New Jersey; Tunica, Mississippi and the Mississippi Gulf Coast; Native American casinos and the casino riverboats in the Midwest. "The winners of the survey's top award, Best Overall Hotel Casino, are: Bellagio (Las Vegas); Harrah's (Atlantic City); Grand Casino (Tunica); Beau Rivage (Mississippi Gulf Coast); Harrah's (Laughlin, Nevada); Silver Legacy (Reno); Harrah's (Lake Tahoe); Foxwoods (Native American category); and The Horseshoe in Bossier City, Louisiana (Best riverboat casino)..." |
