Progressive Gaming Anticipates Product Approval

LAS VEGAS -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Progressive Gaming International Corporation (NASDAQ: PGIC), a leading provider of diversified technology and content products and services used in the gaming industry worldwide announced today that its Rapid Bet Live product is expected to receive approval for field trial from the Nevada Gaming Control Board (the NGCB) within the next 2-3 weeks.

This would be in advance of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament in March/April 2006. The NGCB recently indicated to the Company that testing of the product was completed, but that the NGCB needed the additional time to complete their routine review and was not related to the product's performance, features or capabilities. Previously, the Company and representatives from the initial field trial location expected approval before February 5, 2006.
