Problem Gambler Sentenced for Bid to Kill Wife1 November 2001AUSTRALIA – Nov. 1, 2001 –As reported by the (Australia) Age.com: "A problem gambler who asked an undercover policeman to kill his wife and considered taking money from her bank account to help pay the $10,000 fee was jailed yesterday for six years.
