Poker Pro Europe reader wins tournament

Donnelly first beat 770 players in the Poker Pro Europe freeroll before taking his seat against six rivals from respected European poker magazines and going on to win £14,000 first prize.

After seven hours of play at the final table Donnelly defeated Card Player's Krzysztof Zajac from Poland in a nail biting heads-up encounter to win entry to the €3 Million Guaranteed Irish Open 2008 as well as the European Poker Tour events in Prague and Copenhagen.

Battle of the Mags comprised a series of tournaments designed to find the most skilled poker player from the readership of Europe's top poker magazines. The grand final featured players from across Europe each of whom won their respective magazine's exclusive multi-table tournament satellites on paddypowerpoker.com.
