Pinnacle Names New GM, VP for Casino Magic Biloxi9 June 2004LAS VEGAS – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: PNK) today announced the hiring of Terry Schneider as Vice President and General Manager of the Company's Casino Magic Biloxi property. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Schneider spent over six years as the Director of Casino Operations for the Argosy Casino in Riverside/Kansas City, Missouri. At Argosy Riverside, Mr. Schneider managed and directed all aspects of casino operations at the 65,000 square foot facility. In addition to opening the casino's $105 million expansion, Mr. Schneider transitioned the entire slot floor into the region's first 100% cashless slot environment. Mr. Schneider also spent over 12 years in casino operations at various Harveys casinos, including Harveys Kanesville Queen in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Harveys Resort and Casino in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Additionally, Pinnacle Entertainment today announced the appointment of David Williams as Regional Vice President overseeing the Company's Boomtown New Orleans and Casino Magic Biloxi properties. Mr. Williams will retain his responsibilities as General Manager of Boomtown New Orleans, a position he has held for the past five years. In total, Mr. Williams has over 34 years of experience in the casino industry, including an additional five years as Assistant General Manager of Boomtown New Orleans. "Terry Schneider is a terrific addition to our management team. With over 18 years of gaming experience, we look forward to Terry applying his unique insight at Casino Magic Biloxi," said Daniel R. Lee, Chairman and CEO of Pinnacle Entertainment. "Also, Terry's firsthand knowledge of loss limit tracking systems and various other Missouri gaming regulations will prove invaluable should we receive gaming licenses for our two proposed casino projects in the St. Louis area." In recent months and years, Dave has produced new property-level financial records at Boomtown New Orleans.
