Phantom Fiber Offers Wireless Solutions

25 July 2006

TORONTO, Ontario – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Online gambling is no longer tied to the home computer. Those who want to place bets on poker, sports and other games can now do so through their cellular phones or PDAs, giving those on-the-go access to games anywhere, anytime. And all thanks to the small but innovative technology company, Phantom Fiber, that is helping lead this mobile revolution.

The Toronto-based company provides wireless solutions to strategic partners eager to extend their branded online games to the wireless world of game-players -- all without compromising the speed and graphics of the online gambling parlor.

"Phantom Fiber has established an infrastructure that enables our on-the-go society to seamlessly perform all types of transactions on their mobile devices," said Phantom Fiber Chief Executive Officer Jeff Halloran.

More than 40% of the online gaming sites, including Goldenpalace.com, UltimateBet.com and Betcris.com, have established partnerships with Phantom Fiber, which offers a secure mobile solution that operates in real time, integrated into the infrastructure of each participating online gaming site.

A study by Juniper Research shows that mobile gambling revenue has reached close to $2 billion this year, and is projected to reach $19.3 billion by 2009.

Phantom Fiber also recently entered into a partnership with Game Theory Ltd., a subsidiary of Excapsa, the developer, marketer and licenser of online gaming software applications. This five-year partnership means gaming-network access to more than 1,000 different cell phones and PDAs, along with the integration of an eWallet payment system. Excapsa licensee UltimateBet.com will use the new software to provide its customers access to the Excapsa gaming network.

All the end user has to do to begin playing is to download the mobile software application to the mobile device. To place a bet the user registers an account with the gaming site. The account information is stored in the "backend," for user protection rather than on the mobile device.

Always improving on a good thing, Halloran reports that Phantom Fiber is continuing to enhance their breakthrough technology in order to offer their strategic partners' customers ever greater access, faster speeds, and other enhancements that are intended to help create a larger, even more enjoyable global gaming community.
