Orbis and Blue Square Sign Software agreement

Blue Square already uses Orbis' OpenBet Interactive Gambling System for its 200,000 registered Internet, interactive digital TV and WAP phone users. The expansion into tele-betting will offer punters increased access to Blue Square's wide range of betting markets including 'in-running' sports and financial wagering.

As Martin Belsham, Blue Square's CEO comments:

``The tele-betting addition completes our three tiered service; in the office the punter can use the Internet, at home the television and on the bus the telephone. The key with the modern betting industry is to be as accessible as possible and this move is a giant stride in that process. We are also now taking an established brand into the domain of the traditional bookmaker and look forward to further challenging the High Street names.
