Operators go live with Playtech BGT Sports' BetTracker

5 July 2017

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Playtech BGT Sports (PBS), the leading provider of omni-channel sports betting solutions, has rolled out its BetTracker product to a host of operators ahead of the new football season.

The innovative app, which allows customers to transfer sports bets placed on shop SSBTs to their mobile devices, is now live with BetFred Sportsbook, JenningsBet, BoyleSports, Sean Graham and Corbettsports.

Independent operators Joe Jennings, David Pluck and Chisholm will also be offering their customers the product in the coming weeks.

The app allows operators to improve the multi-channel experience for its retail customers, with users able to monitor and cash-out shop bets on their personal mobile device.

Football is the most popular sport that customers bet on using PBS terminals, with a focus on multi-team accumulators and in-play generating market-leading gross win margins. Accordingly, this large-scale deployment comes at an ideal time with the new season approaching.

John Pettit, Managing Director for U.K., Ireland, Asia, and Australia at Playtech BGT Sports, said, "BetTracker has been a fantastic addition to the retail sector since its launch, and we're pleased that many of our existing partners are now offering it to their customers.

"The unique app provides players with much greater choice, improving the user experience and in turn, boosting incremental revenue in shops as it attracts new and existing customers alike.

"With the football season kicking off soon, we are hoping to carry on the momentum, and are confident this roll-out will contribute significantly to that."

BetTracker, which is available on Apple and Android, allows players to manage their shop-placed bets on-the-go without the need for an online profile, by scanning tickets into the bespoke app.

They are then able to return to any of the operator's retail outlets to collect their winnings in cash, having let their bet ride or opted to use its cash-out facility.
